Most Wistia videos are horizontal. Most social clips are vertical. And that’s where the awkward crops (and tiny faces) show up.
With AI auto-frame (in beta), Wistia automatically detects the people in your horizontal video and reframes them into a vertical layout that looks natural on mobile. And that means your speakers stay front and center.
When you turn it on, we’ll:
👥 Works best for: talking-head videos like webinars, podcasts, interviews, and updates.
📝 Beta note: screen shares and dense visuals may still need a few manual tweaks.
If something looks off (or especially great), please tell us! Your feedback helps us make it better. Thanks for trying it out.
Ever been hosting a webinar and wondered, “Okay, but who’s actually in the room right now?” You shouldn’t have to guess or wait until after the event to find out. Now you don’t have to.
What’s New
You can now view a real-time attendee list during your live webinars. Just click the viewer count to see exactly who’s watching, complete with names and email addresses. The list updates on its own as people come and go, so you always know what your audience looks like in real-time.
You’ll also spot two handy tabs: Watching for real-time viewers, and Banned for anyone you’ve removed from the event.
Why it matters
This gives you instant visibility into your audience so you can make smarter, more personal decisions on the fly. Plus, hosts can ban (and unban) attendees right from the panel if anything gets disruptive, keeping the experience smooth and distraction-free.
A few things to know

You can now move or copy full folders, and their subfolders, right inside your account. Promote a subfolder to its own folder. Nest a folder under another. Mix and match. It’s all drag, drop, done.
✨What’s New?
With the new move and copy feature, managing your library, at any size, just became a whole lot easier. Instead of moving videos one by one, you can now shift entire folders with just a few clicks. It’s faster, cleaner, and way less painful.

Reaching global audiences just got way easier. Now, you can add multiple audio tracks to one video so viewers can toggle languages right in the Wistia player without ever hitting pause.
✨ What’s new?
Say goodbye to uploading separate videos for every language. Now, you can manage everything in one place—cleaner, faster, and way easier to track. Head to Customize → Localization on any video to start adding your audio tracks today.
See how it’s done
Ever felt like your webinar registration page didn’t look quite right? Maybe the form sat too low on the page, or the thumbnail image overlapped your text. We heard you. We cleaned things up so everything looks sharp, reads clean, and helps more people hit “Register.”

What’s New
We’ve refreshed the layout of webinar registration pages to put the most important things front and center. The form now sits at the top of the page (where it should be), the title and date are easier to spot, and the overall design looks sleeker right out of the box.
Why It Matters
It’s now faster for people to figure out what your webinar’s about and sign up, no more scrolling or guessing where to click. It’s a quick visual upgrade that improves sign-up rates, skips the layout tweaks, and gives your webinar a more professional look with minimal effort.
Try It Out
New webinars use the updated layout by default, so there’s nothing you need to do. Head over to the Customize > Brand section to explore the updated header options and give your registration page that extra shine.
