1. In your Content Library folder, select the videos you want to turn into a Channel or Playlist
2. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see the dark blue bulk action bar with Create Channel as an option
3. Select if you want to create a Channel (a stylized video collection) or Playlist (an embedded list of videos), give it a name and create!

✨And a bonus: you’ll get a customized preview of your Channel or Playlist even before you hit create so you’ll get a sense of how it will look, with the option to fully customize after you create.

• Embed and share are still prominently featured on the top right of your screen so you can easily copy embed code for your site or access a link to share for viewers or share for review
• All your other faves, like replacing media and A/B testing, are in the ‘more actions’ menu. (You know, the little circle with three dots.)

Showing off your videos in a playlist is a surefire way to get the attention and engagement you want, from one video to the next. Whether it’s a product tutorial or learning series, playlists perfectly organize your videos so viewers can watch them continuously and in order.

And now you can make those playlists stand out even more with gradient customizations.

❓How does it work?

1. Head to the Customize panel from Playlist
2. Scroll down to Appearance and toggle to Gradient to find the colors that best match your brand and page
3. Select the gradient colors you want for the playback bar and play button from your brand kit or select a new set of colors
4. With playlist background color, you can decide if you want the list to inherit the gradient or stay as solid color

Find the perfect set of colors to highlight your brand and elevate your playlist and watch the views stream in.

Wistia’s custom permissions, available for all Premium users, are designed to give you maximum control over your content. With granular permission options and an endless array of combinations, you can decide exactly what access people have to each folder of content.

How does it work?

1. For Premium users, when you go to a folder, head to the Share button in the top right and select Invite collaborators
2. From there, select an existing user/group, or type in the information for a new user and click the dropdown for permission access levels
3. In the dropdown, select Custom permissions and select any of the following options

With the addition of the Edit custom permission, you now have a full suite of options for how your collaborators can manage content - giving them independence while also maintaining control.

We’ve heard your requests and we’re excited to deliver the ability for you to customize footer text for your Channel. We know how important customization is for your Channel - where you drive significant engagement from one video to the next and impactfully highlight your brand and product. That’s all the more reason to be able to include and customize footer text for your Channel - an especially important feature if you need to include disclaimers or regulatory language with your content.

How does it work?

1. In your Channel, head to the Customize panel on the lefthand side of your screen
2. Select Footer and include the text for your Channel, complete with the option to hyperlink any parts of your text
3. Adjust the font size, alignment, and type and even include a footer title

Keep your Channel in compliance and in style with a customized footer that contains all the content you need, without compromising any of the design.

Keeping your brand front and center is one of the most important pieces of delivering impactful content. And now it’s even easier to make your brand shine and deliver with the ability to add a link to the logo in your Wistia Channel. You can build your logo directly into the header of your Channel and set the desired URL so that viewers can follow your logo to keep engaging with the brand.

How does it work?

1. In your Channel, head to the Customize panel on the lefthand side of your screen
2. Select Header and scroll down to the Logo section
3. Either select the logo from your brandkit or upload a new image and adjust the size based on your preference
4. Add a URL for the Logo click url and you’re ready to go!

You no longer have to choose just one video to feature in the hero section of your Channel - now you can display your header content as a dynamic carousel, giving your audience a beautiful and engaging view of your videos.

How does it work?

1. In your Channel, head to the Customize panel
2. Select Header and go to Header type where you can choose from:

That’s where Channels and Playlists come in! Now it’s easier than ever to turn your folder of videos into a customizable, on-brand viewing gallery for your audience. Not only is it a better experience for your viewers, but also means better performance for you - with videos in Channels getting play rates of more than 30%!

How does it work?

1. From your folder of choice, click the Share button in the top right corner and select either Share as Channel or Share as Playlist
2. Add your content to an existing Channel or Playlist or create something new
3. Choose if you want to continuously sync and publish content from your folder to the Channel or Playlist or you can opt to do a one-time sync or just sync as a draft
4. Head over to the Channel or Playlist to set your customizations and copy the embed code or link to share

That’s it! If you’ve set your folder to sync, all new videos added to the folder will automatically add to the Channel or Playlist without any extra effort from you! Now your product tutorial, branded content, webinar series, online courses, and more are ready for your audience to watch one after the next after the next . . .
