Wistia Channels is all about giving you control to beautifully showcase your content with your favorite branded player. Now you can take your channel to the next level with the ability to create custom background colors. That’s right - you have full control of the branded experience, back to front for your video collection.

✨ What’s new?

Instantly apply your brand colors with one-click “Brand Dark” and “Brand Light” presets, or take full creative control by choosing any custom color to perfectly match your site’s look and feel.

❓How does it work?

To try it out, head to Channels and navigate to the Customize panel and then go into Channel style → Colors to see your full set of options. Preview your changes in real time to find the look you want, and make your channel uniquely yours.

Groups are a valuable way to manage permissions for sets of users in your Wistia account - whether you set them up by team, function, or project, they can simplify who gets access to what. Now they’re even more powerful, because you can use those same groups to determine permissions for Channels and Webinars or Events.

✨What’s new?

• On the Manage Team page, you can now easily assign access to specific Channels and/or Live Events to Groups.
• Groups will now show up with the Group label in the search box when you select Invite Collaborators within a Channel or Webinar.
• Groups have the option of the Can Manage or Can View permission for Channels and Live Events, which can be updated in either the Manage Team page, or the Invite modal.

Head over to the Manage Team page of your account or go directly to a Channel or Live Event to add your Group in just a few clicks.

Your search just got a whole lot easier with new filtering controls for your folders and subfolders. We’re making it even easier to find exactly what you’re looking for, with filters for:

• Media name
• Media type
• Date
• Tags
• Uploaded by
• Duration
• Origin
• Play count

Results will automatically pull matches from both the folder and its subfolders so you don’t have to go digging to find what you need. It’s easier than ever for anyone from your team to get to the right piece of content quickly, no matter the size of your library.

We’ve made it easier to update and access your billing settings.

Now, instead of jumping between separate pages for invoices, payment methods, and contacts, everything lives neatly under Settings → Billing.

You’ll also notice a new Overview tab with quick actions, so the most common tasks are easier to find (like updating your card or retrying a payment.

Wistia Account owners get full access to all billing details. And your teammates (managers and users) will still see Billing in their sidebar, but with a friendly note pointing them to the right person if they need help.

While recording a video, you can now switch layouts and update who’s on stage without pressing pause. That means you can:

• Bring screen shares on and off
• Toggle between tile and full-screen layouts
